Last Thursday, we celebrated one of the most eventful nights in fashion at the Shak. Our interactive style competition was the true highlight of the night. Shoppers were challenged to style themselves from head to toe, choosing from Fall’s hottest clothing, jewelry, shoes, and accessories in The Shak. Once dressed, make-up artists made sure each shopper looked beautiful and camera-ready to have a photo snapped on the interactive kiosk.

Flawless skin can be hard to perfect especially while still trying to look natural. Some foundations tend to be too heavy leaving the makeup feel like it’s caked on and some can tend to melt away throughout the day. Now with summer around the corner, it’s important to find the right tools and products that will help you achieve this look, and Stanley Korshak’s makeup artist Joe Flores is here to help.
Step 1: Prep the skin with Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, this will help let the makeup set making it last longer.
Step 2: Using a Chanel #6 foundation brush, sweep Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation starting from the T-zone and working your way out to the perimeter of the face in downward strokes.

Step 3: Apply Hourglass Hidden Concealer with an Hourglass #8 brush. Begin at the corner of the inner eye, blending under the eye. Then apply concealer on entire eyelid as an eye shadow base.

Step 4: With a Chanel #8 blush/bronzer brush, apply bronzer (La Prairie’s Cellular Treatment Bronzer) anywhere the sun might “kiss” your face. Begin at the hairline right around the temples. Then apply under the cheekbone blending forward and stopping where the nasolabial fold (the lines where the nose meets with the lip) begins.

Step 5: Lastly, with the same brush apply blush (La Prairie’s Cellular Treatment Powder Blush in “Zinnia”) sweeping across the apples of the cheeks and then the temples.

And viola! You have flawless skin!
