While studying at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, Rory Ashton interned with jewelry designer & Hollywood red carpet stylist, Christie Martin. It was then that Rory Ashton discovered her own personal style and passion for jewelry. Rory Ashton is inspired by flowers, fish and all things colorful for her jewelry line. Pieces are handcrafted using natural stones and nature inspired color themes, creating unique earthy jewelry with a feminine twist.

Korshak Q&A with Robert Comstock
Meet menswear designer Robert Comstock. Known for his sumptuous leathers, natural fibers, and luxurious outwear, Comstock uses only the finest materials that are both durable and comfortable to wear in any condition.
On Friday, Stanley Korshak and Modern Luxury began their search for twelve local women whose sense of style is only exceeded by their dedication to their community.
If Friday’s crowd is any indication, these twelve ladies have some well heeled shoes to fill! We were thrilled to see former Fresh Faces of Fashion in attendance, as well as Yvonne Crum, Fresh Faces of Fashion event founder, and representatives from the Sachin + Babi fashion line - all excited for the night’s big announcement.

The news? Fresh Faces is getting “freshened” up this year! While many of the exciting changes are still hush hush, we do know that designers Sachin and Babi Adluwalia will be featured guests at the March event and fashion show.

Last Thursday, we celebrated one of the most eventful nights in fashion at the Shak. Our interactive style competition was the true highlight of the night. Shoppers were challenged to style themselves from head to toe, choosing from Fall’s hottest clothing, jewelry, shoes, and accessories in The Shak. Once dressed, make-up artists made sure each shopper looked beautiful and camera-ready to have a photo snapped on the interactive kiosk.

Jewelry designer, Amanda Sterett made a personal appearance and introduced her new line, “Olivia,” which is named after her daughter, who also made an appearance proving that even little girls love a night out with fashion.

ROCK’N RUNWAY
The beautiful people were out in full force on Thursday, August 23 when Stanley Korshak teamed up with FD Luxe for the second annual Rock’n Runway Fall Fashion Extravaganza.
This year’s event benefited the Echelon group of Salvation Army with guests encouraged to make a donation and/or bring in a gently pair of used jeans for their denim drive. With more than 600 in attendance, Rock’n Runway featured fall designs in three fabulous fashion shows amplified by the music of DJ Lucy Wrubel. After the models had emptied the catwalks, guests danced the night away at the Rap Up Party at The Shak.
